One of the first malls in Noida – The CenterStage Mall at the heart of Noida City still fascinates me. It is a lost paradise now in the crowd of many upcoming malls such as GIP and DLF – Mall of India.
It used to be the most happening place with its multiplex cinema, multi brand retails outlets and capsule lifts. Those were new things 10 years back. It was a dream luxury to watch a movie in Wave Cinemas inside the mall. The Platinum Lounge is still known for its comfort, ambience & VVIP treatment.
What I like most about the mall is the simple, clean and systematic architecture. The architecture is in rectangular shape with all the shops placed on length and breadth of rectangle. The center space is open. The two capsule lifts are just present at the back. While you board these lifts you get to see clear view of whole mall.
The mall does not have many branded retail outlets, but enough to have good reasonable shopping. The most famous are The Westside and The Pluss Store. Also many small kiosks to shop.
The mall also houses loads of Spas. So, if you plan to go for some beauty break, this mall should be definitely there in your visiting list. Bullion Spa, Looks Forever Saloon, Jawed Habib, Budha Spa, Elegant Wellness Spa and many more.
For dining, the mall has India’s favourite outlet i.e. Haldirams. Mcdonald’s and Pizza Hut are the evergreen stores. Other famous eating joints are – Geoffrey’s, Moti Mahal and Junglee Cafe. Food court offers reasonable dining out options. For summers while there is Baskin Robbins for best ice-creams, there is small kiosk of Adarsh Kulfi also offering kesar pista, malai kulfi. So desi options also available.
So the lost paradise is not so lost. It is still palpable. Visit the mall – not so crowded, relaxing to eyes, pamper yourself with services of spa, watch luxurious movie, indulge in food, ice-creams and have fun.
Let me know, if you actually agree!
