The website development was taking place. Lots of discussion took place as in how to represent the website, how to work on the backend. She was not at all aware of all these terminologies. She considered herself technology handicapped. Yes, lot of us have many brilliant online ideas, but we lack knowledge of executing it. Technology is magical. Do not feel that you are lacking anything. There are loads of small and big companies brilliant in technology support. She was leveraging that.
All she was doing is working on A4 papers, designing the user interface on A4 papers and passing it on to his two supporting members. Without them, she could not thought of making it happen. From an idea, building on template, gathering data, quality checking the data, background research, developing website she has come so far. She was happy. She was learning new things at every stage.
In 2017 her idea, her dream, her website Wall of Mall, came into existence. She was really happy and thought she could grow soon. But only building the website was enough. Now, the actually work of marketing or promoting the website began. Being a market researcher by profession, she was less aware of marketing. But she had faith in herself. If she had learnt many things about website development, she can learn marketing too. The promotion started on Facebook and got good response. She learnt how to manage facebook promotions. But website was still not getting enough traffic.
It has been quite some time. Along with taking care of her family she was devoting time on the promotions. It was difficult but she was able to manage things. However it was not bearing any fruits. Many a times she thought to pull it off the website and relax! But if she has come so far then she could not let it go!
And she is not letting it go!
From a 12th class girl who dreamed of becoming a doctor, then a scientist and after that a manager in pharmaceutical giant. Got married and only dreamed of doing a job with work life balance. Got a kid and only dreamed of work from home. Left the job after her second kid. Enjoyed being a homemaker. Gave time to elders and kids. Learnt household things, which she lacked. Kept her brains fertile with thousands ideas. Meeting the right set of people and make her idea a reality. And now working to make that reality a success, it’s been a soulful journey. She further has many small dreams such as doing something in teaching (remember she was doing studies for teaching) or doing something in dance (yet to recognize, if she is passionate about this, but she gets emotional on dance front). She is not a superwoman. She is the person who believes in dream, does not get disheartened if dreams does not fulfilled and dare to dream again. Dare to dream again. Believing in your dreams is the first key to living your dreams.
