How Indian residents in US styles themselves?

Sweater/Knit dresses are one of those must haves in your closet specially for the winters, so you can skip wearing Jeans at least once in a while. Usually, I don’t dare to wear dresses in the winter as I’m afraid to feel the freezing cold winds. But this winter there were many days, where it was not so unbearably cold and I thought of trying out the sweater dresses.
I got my eyes on this simple Grey Knit dress with those ruffle details on the sleeves when I first saw it at Zara (they are having a 70% sale on the whole site if you want to check them out). It is a sheath dress with a boat neck pattern. I have a pear/triangular body type, so I hesitate a little while investing in sheath or body hugging dressing. But this year, I wanted to push myself a little out of my comfort zone, so I picked this as my first step.
I wanted to maintain a classy Monochromatic look and at the same time add a signature style to it. I experimented a little with my accessories and added this bold necklace which does what I exactly wanted 🙂 I added those Grey boots to finish my look. Since the necklace is making the bold statement for me, I chose a simple makeup with Nude lip (Huda Beauty Liquid lipstick in shade “Trophy Wife“). This can be one of those looks which you can carry to work as well as an evening outing.
